Regency England or Colonial America. Lex Luthor has a serious problem. His father has threatened to disown him and find a new heir if Lex doesn't find a bride to carry on the Luthor name. While many ladies would jump at the chance to be the new Lady Luthor, Lex will defy his father with any means at his disposal. It doesn't help that Clark Kent, a distant relation to Lady Kent, provides a healthy distraction.

But before Alexander can prove himself, his party is attacked, and Alexander becomes more concerned with survival and understanding the strange man that holds Alexander's life in his hands.
